The Academy and its Vocational School of Applied Arts offer study courses in the artistic processing of glass and lights, as well as the artistic processing of glass and an apprenticeship in glassmaking.

It prepares students to be glass designers and to work with glass companies. The school produces graduates who find employment in the glass industry as well as in the field of arts and crafts. In cooperation with the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague, it offers a Bachelor's degree in Restoration and Conservation of Arts and Crafts in Glass and Ceramics.
The school and its glassworks, along with the cutting and painting shops are open to the public during regular open days, the International Glass Symposium (June) or the Biennial (September).
