THE JOSEF HOFFMANN MUSEUM

Birthplace of the architect and designer Josef Hoffmann (1870–1956), who was an important representative of Viennese Art Nouveau and Modernism. He drafted plans for buildings and worked on the design of utilitarian objects, including glass.

The interactive exhibition introduces the life and work of Josef Hoffmann. It also boasts an accessible garden with mobile refreshments and a relaxation area with a library. The new permanent exhibition, entitled Messenger of Beauty, presents Hoffmann's life and work, looking at him as an inspiration for today's artists, while also focusing on Hoffmann's family home with its garden and barn.
