Follow the blue hiking trail in the direction of Příseka through the picturesque landscape at the foot of Malá Homola, from the crossroads Pod Malou Homolí continue along the yellow trail.

Dobrá Voda

The most famous of the glassworks in the Posázaví region, founded in 1723 by J. J. Hogl (former name Hoglova huť or Hogl's Glassworks). Its former glory is commemorated by the original glassmaker's house (now known as the Château) and a monument to the Welz family, who owned the glassworks until its closure in 1871. The Hogl glassworks produced clear and uncoloured glass, so-called forest glass, cups, goblets and bottles, as well as beer and wine glasses.

Žižkův buk, Žižkova studánka (Žižka’s beech, Žižka’s well)

By the road to Dubica grows the monumental Žižka's Beech (500–600 years old, finalist of the tree of the year 2008) under which, according to legend, Jan Žižka rested during the pursuit of King Sigismund's troops in 1422. The local settlement got its name Dobrá Voda from the well which you can stop to refresh yourself at. Žižka's Well has become a renowned patriotic pilgrimage site. A bust of Žižek, commissioned by the owner of the Welz glassworks, is located at the well.

After Malčín we turn onto an unmarked road that will lead us to the tiny settlement Vlčkův mlýn, the site of an old mill, from there we continue 1.5 km along the yellow-marked trail to Josefodol.
