Cycling route PŘIBYSLAV-SÁZAVA
One of the most beautiful routes in the Czech Republic, which runs along the former railway line between Přibyslav and Sázava.

The route is 9.3 km long and offers a passage through beautiful landscape, where alternating sections lead through narrow gorges in rocks with dense forests, across vast meadows, over footbridges over the Sázava River and underpass bridges parallel to the express train railway. The route profile has an ascending character from Přibyslav to Sázava.
The route is intended for sports and recreational use only. In other words, it is good for cyclists, skaters and pedestrians, and in winter it serves cross-country skiers. It is not allowed to drive motor vehicles on it. Dogs must not enter there, either. There are 17 crossings on the entire route, where it is crossed by forest paths. Several footbridges over the Sázava River are always covered with laths.
On the route, there are two rest areas with benches under shelters. The only refreshment stall is at the beginning of the route in Přibyslav. Unfortunately, it is only open from May to September, rather in the afternoon and only in nice weather. The closest refreshment stall in Sázava is about 100 metres from the end of the route.
