Route description or Where to go

Forests, fields, meadows and relaxation on the bike. This is the cycle route through the countryside of the Třebíč region. The starting point of the trip is the village of Rokytnice nad Rokytnou, about 14 km west of Třebíč.

After starting, follow the blue signs which will take you in the direction of Želetava. Go past the settlements of Březová, somewhat remote Dašov and the Pančák Pond and climb through the forest at the foot of Mařenky, the highest peak in the area. Here you can climb sharply to the top still following the blue marked trail and enjoy the view from the observation tower of the same name. Keep following the blue trail until Nové louky and then to the village of Bítovánky.

At the Žabinec crossroads take the red marked trail to Lesonice. In Babice, change the route again, this time to the green marked trail towards Loukovice. Then go by road to Sádek and Stařeč. You can also climb directly to Sádek Castle and then continue along the yellow marked trail to Horní Hora and from there back to Rokytnice.
