The Jewish cemetery Hořepník was founded in the first half of the 17th century and is located in V Palestině Street on the right bank of the Trnava River. It was last extended in the second half of the 19th century. The oldest preserved tombstone is probably from the mid-17th century. Funerals took place here until 1940.
There are about 300 tombstones, most of them baroque and classicist. The middle of the cemetery is somewhat elevated, supposedly created by filling in after the cemetery became full, so burials took place here in two layers.
