The cemetery in Pacov was founded in 1680 and expanded between 1920 and 1925. The oldest preserved tombstones date from the first half of the 18th century. At the beginning of the 1990s, the cemetery was overgrown with vegetation, the fence wall made of rubble was damaged, part of the cemetery was waterlogged, the entrance gate was missing, the ceremonial hall was in a state of disrepair and most of the tombstones from the second half of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century had been overturned. The cemetery then underwent a full reconstruction.
