Pension Fořtovna Drážďany Guesthouse is a reconstructed building that originally served as the residence of the manager of the large local forests around the village of Drážďany.
The result of a complete renovation is a place that will meet all your expectations for beautiful rural accommodation in a secluded location. The building of the original farmhouse and the adjoining outbuildings together form an enclosed courtyard. In addition to accommodation in apartments, there is also a lounge with a bar.
The residential part of the guesthouse has two triple rooms on the ground floor and an apartment consisting of a dining room with a kitchen and a fireplace with a separate sleeping area with a double bed and a single bed. In the attic there are a total of four apartments/rooms, two of which are larger - duplex style. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
The owners approached the reconstruction work with sensitivity. The living areas and the entire guesthouse are built of natural materials that honour the tradition and history of the building as a whole. Bricks, timber and natural ceramic tiles - these materials form the heart of the entire construction.
For nature, sports, trips and fishing
Your hosts will give you plenty of tips on where to go on a trip. In summer you can enjoy cycling, walking in the woods and mushroom gathering. And in the winter cross country skiing. The surrounding area is also rich in various historical monuments, picturesque towns and cultural events.
Fishing enthusiasts are sure to be satisfied. Not far from the guesthouse there is private pond where you go fishing. Of course, you can keep the fish you catch to barbecue back at the guesthouse in the evening.
TIP: The guesthouse has a beautiful garden, where you will certainly enjoy using the fireplace with seating and barbecue.
