Are you up for a longer bike ride with some interesting stops along the way? Ride through the landscape between the Jevišovka River and the Dalešice Reservoir. If 68 kilometres is not enough for you, you can extend your trip with stops at these two reservoirs.

Route description or Where to go

Start your journey in Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou. Follow the yellow marked trail to the village of Příštpo, beyond which you will pass the Rokytná Nature Park. At the fourth road turn right to the blue marked hiking trail to the Kyničky gamekeeper’s cottage and Lišný rybník Pond, from where it is 2.5 kilometres to the Bukovina ruins.

Then follow the forest paths through the Nedveka valley to the yellow marked trail leading to Střelice and on to Rozkoš. TIP: From Střelice it is only a few hundred metres to Jevišovice, where you will find two beautiful chateaux - the Old and the New - with interesting expositions. You can extend the route again and adjust it to suit your requirements.

After the village of Rozkoš, cross the Rokytná River at the Pulkovský mlýn Mill and drive to Biskupice and Stinský Pond. The next stops are Hrotovice (where it is worth visiting the Hrotovice Museum) and Dalešice (be sure to visit the Dalešice Brewery, the brewery featured in the movie Postřižiny). After passing Valec (there is also a beautiful château with two sightseeing tours) and Dolní Vilémovice, the route leads to the villages of Lipník and Boňov and then back to Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou. If you still have the desire and energy, visit the local Baroque château, which is known as the Moravian Versailles.
