MONASTERY STABLES IN ŽĎÁR NAD SÁZAVOU

Abbot Vejmluva established a noble academy in the monastery. For its needs Santini designed an extremely inventive stable building. Eighty stabled horses could look up at the intricately composed star relief in the ceiling above their heads.
